RWA growth continues to exceed my expectations we can break it down in 3 charts to see the growth, which categories and which products/issuers are winning most. The things that standout most to me: the headline: tokenized RWAs added $15B+ YoY. Up 161%. Nothing to scoff at. The biggest surprise (to me) is how big onchain gold has become. Second largest growth category on an absolute basis (+$4.1B YoY) and the fastest growing on a percentage basis (+293%). Both Tether and Paxos each added nearly $2B to their tokenized gold products over the past year. Also impressed to see how quickly Circle scaled their onchain Treasuries product

According to @coingecko's latest RWA report: Tokenized RWAs have more than tripled since 2025, hitting $19.3B by Q1 2026. Treasuries lead the surge, driving over half the growth. RWAs now equal 6.4% of the stablecoin market. Still bearish huh?

IBC is entering the $190 T cross-border payment market. 🏦 Project Pax (backed by MUFG, SMBC, and Mizuho) is building a settlement platform using Cosmos IBC. They're integrating it directly with Swift infrastructure. It’s currently in the POC phase, but the goal is to use regulated stablecoins and IBC to bypass slow correspondent banking.
