This is the exact mindset gap killing a lot of early-stage startups here. If you don’t have capital, skill or distribution, then “100% ownership” is just theoretical equity in a project that never survives. Builders understand this. YOu trade equity for speed, talent and execution. The real flex isn’t owning everything. It’s building something that actually scales because you weren’t too rigid to let the right people in early. 10% of something real always beats 100% of something dead on arrival.

"Frontend developers" and "building only static websites" in one sentence. Just say you don't know shit about frontend development. There's literally a handful of frontend devs that build only static site, it's almost impossible. There's more to frontend design than just replicating UI/UX. We are talking about caching, error handling, state management, authentication flow, knowing when to use SSG, SSR and CSR, API integrations, SEO optimization and a whole lot more but yeah, UI/UX designers will replace them lmao.

Last week, I got a call from the CEO of the startup I joined 6 months ago. Everything was good. I had shipped 25+ PRs, built 40+ reusable components from scratch, and fixed end-user bugs within a day. I loved the team. I loved the product. It was finally the kind of place I had been chasing since my first year at IIT Bombay. Then he told me the funding round didn't come through. No runway left. So no job either. Local and session-aware is the right call imo, sending everything back into context on every session is noisy and expensive. The small packet idea is interesting. Are you letting the user see and edit what gets captured or is that fully automated? Transparency in what the system remembers feels important for developer trust.

Appreciate the honesty, most people oversell where they are. The "arrives before the moment passes" constraint is basically the entire product. Everything else is secondary to that. If you ever want a second pair of eyes on the architecture as it evolves, I'm happy to think through it with you. I build production systems so I know how early decisions compound later.
