Away from my desk on holiday, no laptop, just blue skies and quiet. It hit me: we obsess over frameworks, perf scores, and pixel-perfect UIs… but the websites that actually matter are the ones that feel alive. The ones that respect the user’s time, spark curiosity, or quietly solve a problem they didn’t know they had. Stepping back makes me wonder — are we building digital spaces people want to return to, or just another tab they close in 4 seconds? What’s the last website that genuinely moved you, and why?
