Also to check statuses and trustworthiness. Then to not only let you continue, but now without having to have all the overly sensitive guardrails. Given internal foreign nationals you segment the knowledge as well: e.g. statuses of users are approved externally and not shared with Anthropocene except “approved for use” or “approved for use without being babysat.” For compliance the legal nationality status is also included. Another problem in #Cardano is stuff like this—I get this from the PoV of @IOHK_Charles since he’s flamed by endless psyops and paid bandwagons. But putting a community onto a private, hostile reservation questionable from its origins, without any offer or affirmationn of valuing freedom of expression… Discord has never been a good idea and should be used like a glowing toxic piece of malware for people who you may need to connect to who lack judgment. (On a device locked down and using a -2 hypervisor to contain it, at least.) Cardano has a **lot** of chasing what is popular or hyped such as for marketing rather than entering around leveraging its tech stack for the intrinsically and value. I was listening to an expert on brainwashing, hypnotism, and algorithms talk, and one of the things he said that stuck with me is that you can get people to do just about anything under the right circumstances. "I'd never kill someone!" Yes, you would if it were them or your daughter. "I'd never steal something!" Yes, you would if they stole from you first and you thought you could get away with it. How do you get people to do evil things? You create an imaginary scenario where those evil deeds are justified and convince people it's real. Why do you think Democrats are always screaming that Republicans are Nazis, that there's a "trans genocide" happening, or that America is "racist" against black people? They're trying to create the conditions in people's minds that allow them to do things that would seem impermissible, radical, or even insane under normal circumstances. It's not just the Democrats, either. It's hostile nations on social media, sociopathic influencers, and people and corporations with bad motivations of every sort. Never forget what Voltaire said: "Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."
